The hare was a sacred animal to the Celts and the Buddhists have a saying about the ’shadow of the hare in the moon’. Hares are linked with nocturnal symbolism and are full of life with a deep connection to the sacred, eternal spirit of the earth. They can indicate a leap of faith or a lucky coincidence. Blackbirds are mysterious creatures also associated with lunar symbolism. They are a sign to trust your own intuition. Raspberries are for kindness and compassion shown here as the hare and blackbird connect and share them.
